Dutch Flash Cards is exactly what it sounds like... virtual flash cards to help English speakers learn Dutch! These flash cards cover over 200 words in the categories: Animals, Basics, Body, Calendar, Clothing, Colors, Family, Food, Home, Numbers, Office, Outdoors, Places and Verbs!
This is a simple and fast way to learn Dutch vocabulary, or brush up on what you might already know. First the flash card shows the word in English. Tap the card to flip it and see the word in Dutch, as well as hear it spoken in Dutch. Use the arrows to toggle through the cards in each category.
For this app to work you MUST install the Dutch voice on your device. You can do this through the FREE "Google Text-to-speech" app. If you already have Google Text-to-speech follow these instructions:
1.) Open Settings
2.) Choose “Language & input”
3.) Choose “Text-to-speech output”
4.) Choose “Google text-to-speech Engine”
5.) Choose “Install voice data”
6.) Download Dutch
7.) One it is fully downloaded, repoen Dutch Flashcards
